Freeze-Framer v2.0 Features

COMPREHENSIVE MULTIMEDIA TUTORIAL: Freeze-Framer 2.0 now includes a highly educational tutorial covering the core elements of the Freeze-Framer system: Getting Started, the Quick Coherence? technique, the Science of the Freeze-Framer, and the Applications of the Freeze-Framer to health, education, business, sports and fitness. (approx 90 mins total.)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AUDIO FEEDBACK: Audio feedback with three different sounds can play depending on the current coherence level of the session ? one sound each for medium, high and 100% high coherence levels. A "No Sound" sound file can be selected if you want to mute any individual sounds. You can even substitute your own .wav files for any of the three sounds.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NEW CHALLENGE LEVELS:Challenge levels ? you can choose from four different challenge levels. You can set individual user default challenge levels and Freeze-Framer will remember. The user can change the Challenge level for a particular session without changing their default. Challenge level 1 is the easiest, and challenge level 4 is the most challenging.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GAMES DISPLAY COHERENCE LEVELS: The games screens now display the current Coherence Level as well as time remaining in the game.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IMPROVED FEEDBACK INSTRUMENTATION: The Accumulated Coherence Score window has changed. The window auto scales as the session progresses with no limit on the score. (The Freeze-Framer 1.0 program displayed a fixed scale with a limit of 100 on the score.) The current coherence level indicator on the Heart Rhythm Screen is much easier to read now.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NEW HOT KEYS: For ease of use, new hot keys have been added to the general program as well as the heart rhythm window.

Examples:
Ctrl+N - create a new user
Ctrl+O - open an existing user
Ctrl+T - options menu
Ctrl+U - user information screen
Ctrl+P - print the screen
* Ctrl+H - heart rhythm screen.

*After a session is stopped, Ctrl+H will reset for a new HRV session without saving the data from the current session.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IMPROVED ORGANIZATION: The Freeze-Framer options have been reorganized into a series of screens available under Edit menu, Options item. This enables easy, centralized control of Freeze-Framer options.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NEW SAVE FEATURES: When you save a session the dialog box now asks if you want to save comments with the current session (checked by default.)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ADD SESSION TITLE & COMMENTS: At the completion of a session, you can enter a session title and a comment on the current session. You can also edit the Title and Comment fields after the session has been saved when you review a session. You also have the option to select whether or not to print the session title and comment on session printouts by checking or un-checking the ?Display Comment on Print Outs? item.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PRINT SESSION TITLES AND COMMENTS: The session title and comments will print out in the lower left corner of session printouts unless you uncheck the ?Display Comment on Print Outs? item on the View Session Comment window for a given session.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PERSONALIZE SESSION PRINT OUTS: You can now enter information that will be displayed at the top of standard session printouts by going to the Edit menu, Header Setup option.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NEW ADMINISTRATOR FUNCTIONS: There are now three installation options for Windows NT, 2000, and XP systems where the user has administrator privileges. The main benefit of this change is that users can share the application and elect to keep the data private or shared. The product can be installed from network servers (Netware and Microsoft SMB or Samba.)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ADDITIONAL ENHANCEMENTS....

Graphically improved interface for easier navigation.

The term ?entrainment? has been replaced by the more scientifically accurate term ?coherence? throughout the program and documentation.

The Freeze-Frame? and Heart Lock-In? techniques have been replaced by the Quick Coherence technique.

Occasional data file corruption problems where sessions get out of order have been resolved. Review Sessions screens should always be in the proper order, and opening and deleting individual sessions should always act on the correct session.

When starting the session, the time it takes before the program displays coherence ratios has been reduced from 45 seconds to 20 seconds.

At the end of a Heart Rhythm session, when you click on the icon to start a new session, you are now asked to save the session data. Previously, the program simply started a new session without presenting a Save Session dialog box.

You can replay a session in simulator mode on a different challenge level to see what the score would be at a higher or lower Challenge Level setting.
