My name is Jacob Martinez and I live and go to school in Carmel, California. I´m seventeen years old. The things that stress me out are trying to balance school and sports. It´s kind of weird to come out and say this, but I also have an anger problem. I have been suspended three times for fighting this year, and I think if I would have used the Freeze-Frame® tool that might not have happened.

I can say Freeze-Frame works because it does. The first time I got on the computer, the teacher told me to think about my stress and my heart rate literally was off the chart. So we started to go through the steps and little by little I started feeling relaxed. We also played some of the games on the Freeze-Framer and I got the balloon to move. After the class I felt relaxed and calm. I think this type of tool should be used all over the country in schools, due to the recent rash of school shootings.


Hi. My name is Mike Machado and I’m a senior and I live in Carmel California. I´m 18 years old and my parents are divorced. I live with my mom and my dad lives in Sacramento. I´m using the Freeze-Frame tool to help me cut down the stress in my life from school. I´ve known about Freeze-Frame since sixth grade, but we didn’t have the computer program. I feel using the computer program helps me more than the regular Freeze-Frame because you can see how stressed you are. The benefits of the Freeze-Framer is making the person who’s using it aware that they’re mad, stressed out or upset about something and that by thinking about something or someone they care about will help them calm down so they won’t take it out on others. This program is really great and I wish my school could have purchased it a lot sooner. If you find you have stress in your life, then I recommend you get information about the Freeze-Framer. Even if you aren’t stressed, you should get information about it because it will help you out before you get to the point of being stressed.

I´ve been using the Freeze-Framer for a while to learn how to be more calm and how to have focus and a powerful mind. In many ways the Freeze-Framer helps you take all your stress out of your body and turn it into a positive feeling that will help your mind and body work better. I recommend the Freeze-Framer for people who want to turn their bad attitude into a good attitude.

 




My name is Alex O´Neal and I live with my mom, dad and brother. I am in tenth grade and my biggest stressor is my grades. I have known about Freeze-Frame for about seven months. The first time I used Freeze-Frame was in my ice hockey game while I was arguing with a referee. I stopped and I asked myself if this was worth getting a penalty over. The reason for doing the Freeze-Frame is to shift from a negative emotion to a positive emotion and see how your heart reads the situation. The benefits of using Freeze-Frame for me are: It helps me control my anger and I can take a break from all the stress I have had that day.

 


 

My name is Diana Govan and I am a teacher at a public high school in (Carmel) California. I am a Resource Teacher, which means that I teach students who have been identifed with learning disabilities. My students are average teenagers in that they are faced with the same challenges and opportunities as most of the other kids at school. I teach English, Math, Reading, and Study Skills throughout my day. I have been teaching the Freeze-Frame tool to my students for the past five years. I started teaching it in my classes after learning the tools myself and using it with my own sons . When I first began practicing Freeze Frame, I felt for the first time I had the power to shift out of a negative emotional state and recreate a positive one within seconds. And using positive emotions from the heart like love or care was fun and felt good to all of us. So now as each school year begins, I take the first two weeks of classes to teach the students all about the power of their own heart to manage their stressful emotions. I use the activities and lessons from Teaching Children To Love and I adjust and expand on those lessons to make it appropriate for teenagers. I have found that before I can be an effective teacher of specific subject matter, I first must use the tools myself, and then teach them to the students. When my students sincerely use the Freeze-Frame and Heart Lock-In® tools I have noticed a huge difference in their ability to focus, take in new information and perform on academic tasks. And there is a greater sense of peace and tolerance in the classroom that has deepened our sense of a "learning community" that supports each other. Now that I have the software, Freeze-Framer, the students are even more sincere in their efforts to shift out of a negative emotional state to a positive one because they get immediate feedback on the computer screen.
