Freeze--Framer Technology Workshops:
Stens in collaboration with HeartMath is pleased to introduce a new program, Tools for Stress Reduction: Adding HeartMath's Heart Rhythm Technology to Your Practice. This hands-on, interactive 1-day session will introduce you to the Freeze-Framer® Interactive Learning System, a new approach to stress relief based on learning to change the heart rhythm pattern and create physiological coherence in the body.
You will learn to use the Freeze-Framer technology with your clients to develop internal awareness, self-regulation, and emotional management skills. Help your clients learn to prevent stress by becoming aware of when the stress response starts and stopping it in the moment. Your clients can learn to take an active role in preventing stress, managing the emotions associated with stress, creating better health, and improving performance.
Practical applications and examples from practitioners in clinics, hospitals, and private practice will be reviewed, including chronic pain, anxiety, depression, anger, and other conditions. Significant stress reduction benefits have been achieved by people with ADD/ADHD, anger, anxiety, asthma, autoimmune disorders, chronic pain, depression, digestive disorders, drug and alcohol abuse, heart problems, hypertension, respiratory problems, and sleeplessness.
You will also experience and practice Quick Coherence®, the positive emotion refocusing technique on the Freeze-Framer program. You will learn how to teach your clients to engage their hearts to bring their emotions, body, and mind into balance.
If you have a PC laptop computer, please bring it with you to use in the lab portion of the program.
